Standing at the finish line to cheer on participants, using noise makers, etc. Volunteers can bring encouraging signs or cheering swag from home to the event (but not required)

Registration responsibilities include:  Confirming rider info Distributing numbered packets Taking donations And more. *Background check required (at MS Society expense). 

Helping check-in volunteers, gathering their volunteer consent forms, giving them their t-shirt and directing them where to go for their shift.

Helping staff with various tasks throughout the event, setting up/tearing down event site, communicating with other volunteers, filling in for others on an "as needs" basis, and keeping areas tidy throughout shifts (lifting may be required).
