Unloading and distributing supplies, setting up tents, tables, and chairs,  hanging banners and signage, decorating tents and tables (heavy lifting required ≤50lbs)

First Aid Volunteers consists of individuals who hold a CPR/First Aid certification or certified medical professionals (EMT, EMS, RN, etc.) who administer First-Aid to event participants

Utilizing a golf cart, shuttle participants along the route as needed. Must have a valid drivers license.

Welcoming participants, looking-up participant name, confirming information and taking fundraising donations and more. (Must be 18+ Background check required due to donation handling)

Setting up and organizing food service area, handing out food to participants, cleaning up area and putting away supplies.  

Setting up/taking down the food and beverage area. Provide an elevated food and beverage experience to TFs, set out water and other beverages, serve coffee (if not self-serve) lay out snacks. Keep area clean.

Emptying trash and recycles bins, picking up trash and generally keeping area clean and safe. Restock water and ice. Periodic checks on portalets to make sure that they have toilet paper, etc.

The Stage Manager must be organized and able to communicate effectively with the event Host, Honoree and their Circle of Support representatives, and the A/V Team. Previous experience in event management is preferred. This role could also be a staff member or contracted individual. See complete job description for scope of work.

Setting up/breaking down area with appropriate supplies, managing the area during the event which may include passing out bandanas, Society print materials, speaking to constituents about MS Society. Usually staffed with at least one Staff member.

New area that will feature participant walking bibs for personalization. Used to be called "I Walk for" bibs and was often a part of Registration. Volunteers in the area will need to spot check supplies.

Setting up/taking down Complete the Circle interactive graphic, set up and manage circle stickers and offer instruction to participants on how to fill out and apply circle stickers to graphic.

Setting up/taking down Circles of Support tent, set up and manage circle fans and offer instruction to participants on what they represent and how to use during the Program.

Roam the site with baskets of Circle of Support circle fans, passing out to all participants and explaining what they are and how to use during the Program

Welcomes Top Fundraisers into the TFA Area. Provides information and able to answer general questions

Stationed at the step-and-repeat display to assist TF participants take photos. Can use their personal photography equipment, cell phone or participants cell phone. If more than one in TFA area, can take candid photos around the area.

Pick up and emptying trash and recycles bins and generally keeping area clean and safe. Restock water and ice. Periodic checks on portos that they have toilet paper, etc.

Helping staff with various tasks throughout the event, setting up/tearing down event site, communicating with other volunteers,  filling in for others on an "as needs" basis (lifting may be required)

Assist with running event volunteer check-in and direct volunteers to their assigned areas

Using personal photography equipment, capture event including team photos, start & finish line photos, route photos, & pre-determined areas via an approved shot list. Volunteer Photographers are expected to share full rights to digital media with the National MS Society in-kind within 1 week of the event by uploading via instructions.

Assisting photographers with set up, gathering participants, using props or signs, staging photos, reminding participants to use appropriate tags for social media, etc.

Setting up water bowls for dogs, treats (if available), signage (Stay off Grass, Dogs on Leash, etc.)

Setting up tent/area with activities for kids, running activities for kids that may include coloring, face painting, lawn games, bubbles, cleaning up area and putting away supplies. *Background check required
