**Why be a part of our Event Set-Up Crew?**

-**Hands-On Impact:** Work closely with our National MS Staff to bring our events to life, from unloading supply trucks to setting up EZ-up tents, tables, and chairs.

-**Golf Cart Adventures:** Take the wheel of a golf cart, navigating through the event space like a pro, delivering supplies with precision to ensure every corner is event-ready.

-**Problem Solving:** Embrace the challenge! Your keen eye and problem-solving skills will be crucial in overcoming any hurdles that arise during set-up.

-**Team Camaraderie:** Forge bonds with a dedicated team, sharing the satisfaction of a job well done as you transform an empty space into a vibrant event hub.

This isn't just a volunteer role; it's an opportunity to showcase your grit and determination. While it's labor-intensive and demands an early start, it's the perfect chance to prove that the most magical moments are crafted by those who put in the effort.

The Registration Team is one of the first areas participants interact with on event day. Volunteers should be a friendly face, have a decent level of understanding of technology (iPads are used at some locations), can pick up procedures quickly (training is performed on site), and act quickly and efficiently. 

Volunteers assisting in T-Shirt Distribution team will help with the following tasks:  Organizing supplies and shirts by size and type, handing out shirts to qualifying participants, keeping area tidy, providing excellent customer service. 

Setting up and organizing food service area, handing out food to participants, cleaning up area and putting away supplies. Note: Most food items will be single serve. 

Setting up/taking down hydration area, up to 2 on route. Welcoming and encouraging/congratulating participants, serving beverages, icing down beverages and replenishing supplies as needed, keeping hydration area clean.

Welcoming participants and directing them to the appropriate areas at the event site, answering questions as needed, ensuring registration lines are moving quickly and that participants have all necessary materials completed before they get to the front of the line

Directing participants at key locations on the route to ensure the walk route is followed correctly and safely.

Assisting photographers with set up, gathering participants, using props or signs, staging photos, reminding participants to use appropriate tags for social media, etc.

First Aid Volunteers are CPR/First Aid certified individuals and do not have to be licensed medical professionals (EMT, EMS, RN, etc.) but they can be, when available. They administer First-Aid to event participants and call in/report any more serious injuries.  The support locations can include start/finish, and along the route.
