First Aid Volunteers consists of certified medical professionals (EMT, EMS, RN, etc.) who administer First-Aid to event participants. The support locations can include rest stops, lunch, overnight, finish, and along the route.

Directs participants to various areas in the festival area

Using personal photography equipment, capture event including team photos, start & finish line photos, route photos, & festival area photos. Volunteer Photographers are expected to share full rights to digital media with the MS Society in-kind.  Photographers will be asked to focus on Team Photos, candid, start or finish line photos.

Standing at start or finish line to cheer on participants, using noise makers and handing out medals/mementos. Often these volunteers are asked to bring encouraging signs or cheering swag from home to the event.

Manages TFA to create an outstanding event experience for Top Fundraisers. (Might be a non-Relationship staff member but talk with your local team during assessment)

Provides excellent customer service and registration services for Top Fundraisers, includes setting up/breaking down TFA Registration, providing check in and registration services, handing out credentials, answer questions. Background check required.

Welcomes Top Fundraisers into the TFA Area.  Provides information and is able to answer general questions.

Stationed at the step-and-repeat display to assist TF participants take photos.  Can use their personal photography equipment, cell phone or participants cell phone. If more than one in TFA area, can take candid photos around the area.

Setting up/taking down the food and beverage area. Provide an elevated food and beverage experience to TFs, set out water and other beverages, serve coffee (if not self-serve) lay out snacks. Keep the area clean.

Emptying trash and recycling bins, picking up trash and generally keeping the area clean and safe. Restock water and ice.  Periodic checks on ports that they have toilet paper, etc.

Help us capture the memories made at Walk MS! Using your own personal photography equipment, document the event including start & finish line photos, team photos, route photos, & festival area photos. Specific shots may be discussed closer to the event. First Aid Volunteers consists of certified medical professionals (EMT, EMS, RN, etc.) who administer First-Aid to event participants.

We are looking for dedicated SAG (Support and Gear) volunteers to drive along the route, keeping a watchful eye for participants who may need assistance. Your role is crucial in providing aid to walkers and ensuring their safe transportation back to the start line.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Patrol designated areas of the route in a golf cart or your own vehicle.
- Be vigilant for walkers who may require assistance or need a ride back to the start line.
- Communicate effectively with event organizers and other volunteers to coordinate support efforts.

**Qualifications:**
- Compassion and a willingness to assist participants in need.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with event staff and fellow volunteers.

Volunteers should be a friendly face, can pick up procedures quickly (training is performed on site) and act quickly and efficiently. This area assists participants in where to go on site, how to complete information for turning in donations and QR code support/direction. 

Assisting photographers with set up, gathering participants, using props or signs, staging photos, reminding participants to use appropriate tags for social media, etc.

The Stage Manager must be organized and able to communicate effectively with the event Host, Honoree and their Circle of Support representatives, and the A/V Team. Previous experience in event management is preferred. This role could also be a staff member or contracted individual. See complete job description for scope of work.
