Responsibilities include:

Operate Courtesy Trams on site offer customer service and needed assistance to participants and spectators.

*Must be 21 or older, and have ability to safely drive a golf cart.

Responsibilities include:

Create a working infrastructure throughout the event by serving as the Event Area Captain or Group Team Leader Collaborating with staff and logistics company (where available) to gain full understanding of volunteer needs Running event volunteer check-in Directing volunteers to areas in need Managing large groups of volunteers in multiple locations Serving as liaison between Staff and volunteers on event weekend

Responsibilities include:

Checking in volunteers  Ensuring paperwork is turned in and volunteers receive a t-shirt along with instructions for their volunteer shift

Volunteers help provide direction and useful information to participants, supporters, and other volunteers.

Will be placed at strategic locations around the fair grounds.

Responsibilities include:

assisting VIP participants at the reception area, VIP shower area, and more. Setting up (1st shift) decorating providing great customer service checking on access credentials. breaking down and cleaning up (last shift)

*So our VIPs can fully enjoy the experience, we ask that any volunteers for this role not be a Club 300 member.

Responsibilities include:

assisting riders at the bus depot, shower area, or luggage barn. giving directions assisting with bicycles helping riders find their belongings, etc.

 

Responsibilities include using personal photography equipment to capture event.

*Shot list will be provided before the event.

**Volunteer Photographers are expected to share full rights to digital media with the MS Society in-kind. 

Responsibilities Include:

Delivering food & refreshments to Fairground Staff & Volunteers spread around the site utilizing MS Society-provided golf carts

Responsibilities include:

Standing at the finish line to cheer on participants Using noise makers Handing out medals/mementos Volunteers might be asked to bring encouraging signs or cheering swag from home to the event (if needed)

Responsibilities include:

welcoming participants ensuring luggage is properly tagged checking participants' luggage in/out of secured area lifting and moving duffle bags, tents, coolers and luggage cases providing excellent customer service.

*(lifting required ≤ 20 lbs.)

Responsibilities include:

loading bikes into truck(s) organizing bikes by rider number providing customer service to cyclists (lifting required ≤ 25 lbs.).
