Volunteer: (2025 Ride to the River) - Supply Truck Navigators

Responsibilities Include:

responsible for loading and unloading trucks and vans carrying supplies along the route after delivery, they will then remain on-site at their given rest stop, control the distribution of supplies to the stop, and facilitate the reloading process post-event Moderate-to-heavy lifting may be required.

Providing motorcycle escort support along the route to troubleshoot problems and ensure rider safety (when needed) responding to emergencies and traffic situations Starting the Tour on Days 1 and/or 2 Monitoring the flow of riders Communicating with Tour officials via the command center or net control Handling minor incidents

*All Motorcycle Marshals are required to wear a helmet and may not participate while towing a trailer


*Encouraged to be active amateur radio operators with VHF/UHF HAM radio capability on the motorcycle and a cellular phone for backup communications.

*Motorcycle Marshals must have a valid motorcycle driver's license and proof of insurance covering the motorcycle to be ridden in Bike MS. Both must be sent to the MS Society in advance of your shift.

*HAM license and the ability to operate from your motorcycle are encouraged.
