Responsibilities include:

Picking up the Bike Truck in the Bryan-College Station area (Friday afternoon) Picking up "bike paper" from logistics team at Kyle Field Finish Line (Friday afteroon) Stage truck in Lot 61 at assist riders with the loading of their bikes (Friday afternoon) Truck departs at 6:00pm to Houston-area hotel provided by the MS Society (Friday evening) Help riders retrieve bikes from truck and load rider luggage onto the truck starting at 5:15am (Saturday morning) Drive truck to Energy Corridor start line and assist with transfer of luggage to the start line luggage truck (Saturday morning) Drive truck back to Bryan-College Station area and return to provider (Saturday morning)

 

*DMV check will be required of those driving

Responsibilities include:

unloading and distributing supplies setting up tents, tables, and chairs hanging banners and signage decorating tents and tables other tasks as needed

*(heavy lifting required ≤50lbs)

Responsibilities Include:

provide direction to the riders as they approach and exit the finish line ensure safety of riders by organizing the traffic flow. (Must be outgoing. Will be standing for majority of shift)

Responsibilities include:

checking in volunteers ensuring paperwork is turned in distributing volunteer t-shirts and providing instructions for volunteer shifts. 

Responsibilities include:

assist with identifying team tents when team vehicles arrive getting teams to the proper parking area after unload expect to be on your feet excellent customer service skills are a bonus!

Responsibilities include:

welcoming participants ensuring luggage is properly tagged checking participants' luggage in/out of secured area lifting and moving duffle bags, tents, coolers and luggage cases providing excellent customer service.

*(lifting required ≤ 20 lbs.)

Responsibilities include:

helping staff with various tasks throughout the event setting up/tearing down event site communicating with other volunteers filling in for others on an "as needs" basis (lifting may be required)

Responsibilities Include:

placed at key entrances & exits and will provide directions and information to riders/spectators attend an online training prior to the event to prepare for this role. Requires standing, walking *Must be outgoing

Responsibilities Include:

Manage the entrance to the Cub 300/VIP area. Track guests who enter area. Help direct non-VIPs where they want to go. 

Responsibilities include:

Standing at the finish line to cheer on participants Using noise makers Handing out medals/mementos Volunteers might be asked to bring encouraging signs or cheering swag from home to the event (if needed)

Responsibilities Include:

Assist with tasks in Aggie Park such as staffing the Fun Zone, Photo-booth, T-shirt station, etc.c.

Responsibilities Include: (male & female volunteers are needed)

monitor the shower area, lines & supplies for riders direct riders to changing tents and other services they may need monitor Club 300 shower for use only by those on the access list

Responsibilities include:

assisting in the Bubble Bistro, a tent and viewing area designed especially for those affected by MS. setting up replenishing water decorating customer service other tasks as needed

Responsibilities include:

setting up bike racks checking bikes in/out of secured area ensuring cyclists receive great customer service.

Responsibilities include:

loading bikes into truck(s) organizing bikes by rider number providing customer service to cyclists (lifting required ≤ 25 lbs.).

Responsibilities include:

using personal photography equipment to capture event.

*Shot list will be provided before the event.
*Volunteer Photographers are expected to share full rights to digital media with the MS Society in-kind. 

Responsibilities include

assisting the riders with bus loading and any last minute ticket sales (Background Check required for processing payments)

Responsibilities include:

cleaning up the event site taking down decorations, signage and banners, breaking down tents, tables, and chairs organizing and loading supplies (heavy lifting required ≤50lbs)
