Amateur Radio Operators are utilized across the event to support logistical needs and situational awareness. Voice communications using simplex and repeaters, as well as digital modes are utilized during the event. Some of the amateur radio related assignments are managed by other committees of the event and may require you to complete volunteer registration on a different page (see below), though most are managed by the communications committee. Time commitments range from one to three days depending on the assignment. The bulk of the activity takes place over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
