Standing or sitting at the start line to cheer on participants, using noise makers, handing out medals, often these volunteers are asked to bring encouraging signs or cheering swag from home to the event. Late shifts may be asked to help clear up as the event draws to a close.
*As part of a sustainable approach, we are temporarily pausing volunteer T‑shirt distribution. Volunteers are encouraged to wear a previous year’s shirt (orange or blue) or anything orange. Another wearable volunteer identifier will be provided.
