While we provide breakfast and lunch on event day during your shift, we are unable to provide overnight accommodations, but volunteers are welcome to join us for the weekend! Hike MS volunteers are encouraged to stay at Winter Park Resort™. Special lodging rates are available at various spots at the resort. Do you want a chance to receive an event t-shirt? Join us in our fundraising efforts! All volunteers who fundraise or donate $100 will receive an event t-shirt when they check in to volunteer on event day.
IMPORTANT:
***All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the Hike MS event. In addition, all volunteers under 18 must bring a completed volunteer consent form with guardian signature to the event. Please visit our Youth Volunteers page to download our current Volunteer Acknowledgement & Release Form***
Setting up/taking down rest stop area. Welcoming and encouraging/congratulating participants, serving beverages, icing down beverages and replenishing supplies as needed, keeping area clean.
NOTE: Rest Stop locations are still being determined. If you have a specific request (i.e. you don't like to ride the gondola, you want to be at the bottom for the accessibility route, etc.), please note that information in the comments section of your registration.
