Volunteer Check-In: Our event space is the Shaba Terrace, which is near the zoo entrance. This will be your home base for the evening, and it is recommended that you leave valuable belongings locked in your car.
Volunteer Training – 4pm- 4:45pm
- Please check in with Debra, the volunteer lead, who will train and direct you to your volunteer role.
Registration – 4:45pm-7:45pm

- Greet each guest, ask for their name and check-in or register the guest(s). Volunteers will be trained on this on the day of the event.
- Check-in and register each guest
- Ask guests for any missing contact information.
- Answer any questions from the guest, bathrooms, reception locations, etc. and give them their table number.
- Above all, remain calm and smile. Remember that registration is our first point of contact with guests!
