Join us for Walk MS: South Sound 2024!
April 13, 2024- University Place, WA
We Welcome Volunteers of All Abilities, Anyone Can Volunteer!
Families, corporate groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer. We are always looking for youth clubs, corporate and service-oriented community groups to lend a hand before, during and after our events. Whether you’re living with MS and just want to say thank you at the Finish Line or you’re ready to help with set up, there’s a place for you at Walk MS!
When you volunteer, you become part of the MS movement – a community of passionate individuals working together to create a world free of MS. Together we provide support, have fun, and make a difference for the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the United States.
Some volunteer positions require specialized skills, a criminal and/or DMV background check and some may involve heavy lifting. Contact us for more details and if you have specific questions, needs, or accommodations during your volunteer shift.
Volunteer activities include but are not limited to: Setting up the site, registration, greeters, passing out t-shirts, working with our Top Fundraisers, organizing food service area, passing out refreshments at a rest stop, cheering at the finish, tear down and assisting with various tasks as needed, etc.
Specific times/positions will be shared closer to the event. Schedules can vary and you are not required to volunteer for the entire event, but please sign up so we have you listed!
- IMPORTANT: All volunteers under 18 must bring a completed volunteer consent form with guardian signature to the event. Please visit our Youth Volunteers page to download our current Volunteer Consent Form.
